Luis Armando Alván; Attorney at Law, obtained his first Bachelor degree from the University of Central Florida in 1995. Later, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2008.  Before starting his legal career, Attorney Alván spent 23 years working for the Orange County Government in Orlando, Florida, serving the residents of the county with dedication and professionalism. Attorney Alván has been living the in the United States since 1988, when he arrived looking for a better life for him and his family, and through hard work and education has become a productive member of the community. He has experienced the journey through the difficult immigration process from arrival to this country to becoming a citizen of the United States.  Today, he offers his help to the immigrant community to support their dreams of a better life and the pursuing of happiness. Attorney Alván has been involved exclusively in the immigration practice since 2011, helping immigrants through different types of petitions such as: family petitions, fiancée visa applications, changes of status, adjustments of status, waivers, asylum, Board of Immigration appeal, victims of crime visas, lawful permanent residency applications, citizenship applications, and other immigration matters.  He has also provided volunteer services through the years on a pro-bono basis to help immigrants in extreme need and great risk such as unaccompanied minors. Attorney Luis Alván has been a member of the Central Florida Community since 1992.
